In my junior year of undergrad, I had a dream - to start a podcast that talks about my love for reading and share my unique perspective on books with others. You see, I've always been an avid listener of podcasts and thought to myself, "Hey, I could do this too!" And so, "You're Black and Bookish" was born. Through this platform, I wanted to give people a glimpse into who I am beyond being a sorority member and showcase my love for literature. By sharing my thoughts on books, I hope to provide a perspective that people may not be used to and, at the same time, shed light on authors who deserve more recognition. Join me on this journey as we explore the world of books together. After all, I believe in giving people their flowers while they're still alive.
